Mina Carter is a British author of paranormal and science-fiction romance, and a prolific and bestselling one, writing from the English Midlands.
As well as an author she is a photographer and cover artist, and describes herself, cheerfully, as forever 'hunched over a keyboard or behind a camera, frantically trying to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they drive her mad'. She lives in the UK with her husband, her daughter, a 'tank of a staffie' and a bossy cat.
Her flagship is Warriors of the Lathar, a sprawling alien-romance saga running to more than twenty books, in which human women are drawn into the world of the fearsome Lathar warriors; it has grown into a whole shared universe of spin-off series. Beyond it she writes the cyborg romance of Zodiac Cyborgs, the shifter and paranormal romance of series such as Alpha Security Company, and much more besides.
Enormously productive across many flavours of the genre, she writes the kind of steamy, escapist romance - heavy on protective non-human heroes - that keeps her large readership coming back.
