Kristin Lance is the pen name of an independent author of steamy, good-humoured 'why-choose' and ménage romance, who writes, in her own words, 'alien smut or steamy contemporary ménage romance' - set either in 'a small mountain town or the remote reaches of outer space'.
Publishing directly to readers through Amazon and a busy presence on social media, she describes her stock-in-trade as 'quirky characters, strong women, and alpha men who don't quite know what hit them (and maybe aren't as alpha as they think)' - romance with real heart and plenty of comic awkwardness.
Her contemporary series There's Room for More opens with The Third Wheel, a polyamorous romance in which two bookshop-owning best friends, Mira and Colby, find long-simmering feelings surface on a camping trip - complicated by Mira's marriage to Gunnar. Alongside it she writes further ménage and hotwife series such as Stags & Vixens and The Aimee Position, ranging from mountain-town rom-com to alien adventure.
She keeps her own life private, letting the warm, funny, unabashedly spicy stories speak for themselves.
