Roxie Ray is not an individual but a collaborative pen name: by the group's own description, a collective of writer friends passionate about paranormal and alien romance, who together have become one of the most prolific names in the genre, with over a hundred books across more than two dozen series since their 2019 debut.
Maid For An Alien Prince, published in 2020, opens the Intergalactic Exchange Program series, in which Earth women take up contracts among the stars and find rather more than employment: housekeeper Brittany's contract is bought out by the rich alien prince Niall, who confusingly insists on treating her less like the domestic staff she signed on as and more like his fated mate. The series marches through the professions from there, with a nurse, a teacher, an assistant, an actress, a nanny and a queen each finding her alien counterpart across eight books.
The collective's other work spans dragon shifters (Black Claw Dragons, Bluewater Dragons), alien warriors (Lunarian Warriors, Warriors of Valkred) and infernal royalty (the Married to the Devil series, written with Skye Wilson), all delivered with the steamy chemistry, fated mates and brisk plotting their readers turn up for in reliably large numbers.
