Pedro Urvi is a Spanish author of epic fantasy from Bilbao, one of the most widely read self-published fantasy writers working in Spanish, with well over two million books sold worldwide.
By profession a technologist, with long experience in information systems and cybersecurity, and having lived in the United States, England and Spain, he began writing 'as an experiment' that grew first into a novel and then into a sprawling saga. He self-published his early work before HarperCollins Ibérica took up his stories in hardcover, and his series appear in both Spanish and English.
His signature work is Path of the Ranger (El Sendero del Guardabosques), a twenty-book saga of young rangers - the 'Snow Panthers' - amid the magic, war and court intrigue of the kingdom of Norghana, on the continent of Tremia; it opens with The Traitor's Son. Alongside it run further fantasy sequences, among them The Ilenian Enigma, The Secret of the Golden Gods and The Path of Dragons, together with the science-fiction standalone The Cure.
