Wolfe Locke is the pen name of a remarkably prolific American author of LitRPG and progression fantasy, with dozens of series to his name and a habit of co-writing many of them with fellow genre authors.
A US military veteran and a qualified social worker with a master's degree, he came to fiction by an unusual route, having once ghost-written champion guides for a competitive League of Legends team. He began posting stories online in 2019 and published his first novel the following year, and has since become one of the busiest writers in the genre, often collaborating with partners such as Mike Caliban and James Falcon.
His work delights in the genre's cosier and more inventive corners. The Ballad of Shady Greg, written with Caliban, is a merchant LitRPG whose hero can't fight his way through a dungeon and so makes his fortune selling goods to the adventurers who can; the long-running Sowing Season turns to cosy farming; and The Shatterfist, among his most popular series, follows a retired top-ranked adventurer back into action.
He writes openly around a demanding family life, and stays close to his readers through Discord and Reddit - as engaged with his community as he is with his sprawling, interlocking worlds.
