Follows the 14th Army - the Bonehunters - under Adjunct Tavore as they pursue the remnants of the Whirlwind rebellion across Seven Cities. The novel begins drawing the series' multiple threads toward each other for the first time, as events on separate continents start to converge. The Bonehunters is the longest book in the sequence and marks the point where the series' full scope begins to become legible.
