Bill Hodges and Holly Gibney

Stephen King's detective novels begin with retired policeman Bill Hodges hunting the Mercedes Killer in Mr. Mercedes, helped by Holly Gibney. After the Bill Hodges trilogy, Holly takes the lead: she joins the investigation in The Outsider, stars in the title novella of If It Bleeds, and has novels of her own in Holly and Never Flinch.
